"I explained the concept of the Mote album to Charles and gave him some of the rough tracks," explains M. Bentley, "and he came up with a whole series of paintings. I felt that they fit the music very well, and also expanded on the idea of Mote and it's permutations of meaning. Unfortunately, I was only able to use a small portion of what Charles produced on the release."
